Andrea Winckworth

Meet Andrea Winckworth, the creative mind and founder of AWE, an Irish based wedding and events management company founded in 2023. Having grown up in County Wicklow, the "Garden of Ireland", Andrea is a country girl at heart but loves the hustle and bustle of city life, currently calling Dublin home. She's often found exploring the vibrant streets of London but also seeks solace in the tranquil beauty of the Algarve in Portugal.

Andrea is known for her warm and welcoming approach, ensuring every celebration is infused with her unique blend of charm and sophistication. A natural extrovert, she thrives on connecting with new people and forming lasting relationships. What sets her apart is her dedication to understanding her clients' needs, listening attentively, getting to know them personally, and dedicating her time to ensuring that each event is entirely unique to the client.

In her downtime, Andrea enjoys playing padel tennis, practising reformer Pilates and heading out for long walks with her loyal companion, Lulu the Maltese. She also loves hosting relaxed dinner parties and garden gatherings with friends, bringing people together and creating memorable moments outside of work.

Having worked in the events industry since 2014, Andrea has curated a diverse portfolio including weddings, birthdays and bar mitzvahs across Ireland and in New York City, summer birthday celebrations in Ibiza and a christening celebration in Rome, Italy.

Since launching Andrea Winckworth Events in 2023, her work has taken her across Ireland, as well as to France, Tuscany and Portugal for weddings, London for corporate events, and most recently to Vatican City for a wedding ceremony followed by a spectacular reception at a castle just outside Rome, Italy. Andrea continues to build her business within Ireland’s thriving luxury events industry, with her work increasingly recognised both at home and abroad.
